Woodland Repeat Pattern
This is a repeat pattern based on British moths found in woodlands, with foliage and mushrooms. These moths are all endangered species of moth found in the uk.
Hedgerow Wildlife
This seamless repeat pattern is based on British wildlife that can be found in our wild hedgerows throughout the UK. I made sure to add food sources for each creature shown in this design, to help educate people on what the birds eat. I made sure to add larger and smaller elements to this artwork this adds variety and helps the viewer naturally see the focal points in the pattern. In the pattern, you can see Robin Birds, Blue Tit Birds, Chaffinch Birds, Honey Bee, Holly Blue Butterflies, Dog Rose Flowers, Sloe Berries, and vines.

British Butterflies

I always find myself looking for butterflies on summer walks, here are a few of the British Butterflies I've recently spotted. These illustrations have been painted using Windsor and Newton gouache paint on 200 gsm watercolour paper. I would love to eventually have enough butterflies painted to create a book on identifying British Butterflies. From top to bottom, you have the Swallow Tail Butterfly, Red Admiral butterfly, Holly Blue Butterfly, and Peacock Butterfly.

Light Through The Trees
In this painting I was aiming to show warmth, with the light radiating through the trees. I used warm colours for this painting and pushed stylistically with my dappled brush strokes for interest.
The South Downs View
The view from where my childhood and family horses were kept, this view brings happy memories and emotions. The south’s downs way Clayton Hill, near the Jack and Jill windmills.
Perranporth Beach Cornwall
A lovely beach that me and my family visit every year during our summer holidays. I tried to capture the shimmer on the waves in this painting and feel this was successful.

This is a painting based on my own visits to Perranporth beach in Cornwall. The painting was painted using my own reference photos, painted with gouache paint onto canvas. This place makes me feel calm and relaxed and thats what I wanted to show in this painting.

This Seven Sisters illustration is based on a photo I took myself several years ago in the summer while walking along the coast. This illustration was created using an iPad with digital gouache brushes on the Procreate app. When painting this artwork I decided to limit myself to using only four colours and lightning and darkening them creating shadows and highlights.

Manta Ray
A large Manta Ray swimming in the deep blue sea, with shimmer added on the ripples with silver leaf gilding. This artwork was commissioned as a gift.

Say No To Plastic
An illustration to encourage people not to use one use plastics. This artwork was painted as one large piece on A2 I could see this being painted as a mural or for educational work. This has been painted in gouache paints.
Colourful Seaside
This is a seamless repeat pattern that I had fun designing, it can be printed onto fabrics, stationary or bedding. This pattern I have painted using photoshop with a digital pen. I like to combine colours together with the aim to please the viewers eyes, I might come up with four to five possible outcomes before settling for my favourite.
Seashells On The Shore
Seamless pattern designed and painted on photoshop with digital pen. Here I wanted to concentrate on the colour palette, using blue tones of the sea and warmer colours of the sand to create an overall beach feel.

Marine fish found around the Red Sea reefs in Egypt, these fish are very colourful and this is why I enjoy painting them. From top to bottom you can see the Six Line Wrasse, Powder Blue Tang, Clown Fish and Copperband Butterfly Fish. I could see these illustrations being used in aquariums, educational books and repeat pattern design.

Here are some headings with spot illustrations I painted for a leaflet called ( A Guide To Egypt). I've used only two main colours, darkening and lightening them using white and black to create shadows and highlights this helps them look like a cohesive set.

Witch For A Week
This is a cover inspired by the book Witch For A Week written by Kaye Umansky. For the front and back cover I used purple for the background as its seen as a witchy mythical colour, against the dark purple I've used a light yellow which stands out well and adds high contrast making the words easy to read. For the boarder I used vines and a crow which are visually pleasing and both are mentioned in the story. This illustration was created using photoshop and a digital pen.

These are spot illustrations inspired by the book Witch For A Week written by Kaye Umansky. These are drawn on photoshop using a digital pen in shades from white to black. I used textures, Highlights and shadows to help parts stand out.
